True Believer is a story about having the courage to do what you love.

Through exhilaration and grief, the comic follows my early experiences as a cartoonist in Portland. It is a meditation on where art fits into our lives, and what it really means to create and tell stories.

This new comic will be making its debut at the Stumptown Comics Fest on April 29th, but you can pre-order it right now via Kickstarter.

I launched this Kickstarter campaign with the intention of raising $1500 to print the comic. The response has been staggering, and I’m now looking at enough donations to fund the creation of my next big project. It’s an amazing prospect, but for now I’m still focused on making True Believer the best-looking and -feeling object it can be. So join me for my first foray into longer storytelling!
